Who we are

Bytown Studio is a web agency in Ottawa, Ontario. The owner of the studio is responsible for how personal information is handled here. Reach us at hello@bytown.studio.

The contact form

When you send a message, we receive your name, your email, and what you wrote. It arrives in our inbox by email. Nothing is stored on this site.

We keep messages as long as we need them to reply and to keep a record of our work together. Ask, and we delete yours.

How we measure the site

We measure how the site is used: which pages and sections people open, and how they move through them. Anything typed into a form is never captured.

No cookies are used for this. Visitors are counted with a code that changes every day and cannot be traced back to a person. The only cookie on the site remembers whether you chose English or French.

We use the numbers only to improve the site. We never sell or share them.

Where data goes

Our email and analytics providers process data on servers outside Canada.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email hello@bytown.studio and we reply within one business day.

Accessibility

This site is built to work with a keyboard, a screen reader, and reduced-motion settings, with text that stays readable at any size. If something gets in your way, tell us at hello@bytown.studio and we will fix it.
